Frequently Asked Questions
General Coaching Questions
How is the relationship between the coach and client different in individual coaching, group coaching, memberships, and self-paced courses?
That is a really insightful question! Thank you. Here's how it works:
  • Individual Coaching: It's the most intensive. It's a big commitment of time, energy, and money. It's 45 minutes of focused time, just you and me, each week, really digging into what matters and creating rapid, personalized progress.
  • Group Coaching: Think of this as a slight step down in intensity from individual. Our sessions are every two weeks, in a group setting. You'll find support from others facing midlife transitions, and gain insights from their experiences, along with my guidance.
  • Memberships: You can think of it as a mix of group coaching, a course, and a private Facebook group, all in one. This offers a community where you can connect, learn, and grow at a sustainable pace.
  • Self-Paced Courses: You work through the material on your own time, with very limited email support, and without direct coaching. These are designed for those who prefer independent learning and focused skill development.
How is it that your coaching program is the same no matter the format?
Good question! The core educational material stays consistent. It's the delivery and the level of direct contact with me that changes. This ensures that you're always getting the foundational tools and knowledge you need, regardless of how you choose to engage with the program.
How do you coach the same material if everyone is going through different changes in their midlife and they are different kinds of people?
That's where the magic happens! The material gives us a framework, like guardrails, so you can explore new things and test your boundaries. I focus on teaching you the techniques and questions that get to the heart of your issues. You tailor it to your life. You're the driver; I'm just the GPS. This approach allows you to experience a personalized journey, even when using standardized material.
Why don't you offer a money-back guarantee?
Because it's your effort that determines your success, not mine. A guarantee can attract people who aren't truly committed. I want clients who are ready to do the work. The question really is if you're ready to invest in yourself.
Since there's no refund, how can I know if coaching is right for me?
I have multiple ways for you to find out. The best way? I offer a free 20-day test drive challenge! It's email-based, 15 minutes a day, 5 days a week. It'll give you a taste of my coaching style and let you see if you're ready to do the work. I also offer free consultations, and have a FAQ page. Plus, I have cancellation clauses in my terms of service, and you can always try out the monthly membership. If after all that, you still aren't sure, you're not ready for my coaching. I have lots of free resources, a blog, and an email subscription that have proven beneficial. I would recommend you start there.
